It was mid-December and I was busy with life and the holidays, just like everyone else. One night while riding home from work on the subway in Boston I heard Christmas music as the train approached the Kendall Square station. I decided to get off the train to listen to the music for a few minutes. I stood against the wall, as a few trains went by, and listened as a trio of musicians played Christmas songs. I’m so glad I took the time to enjoy that experience. It is one of my favorite Christmas memories.
I grew up in the LA area and moved to Boston sight unseen and am never leaving New England. I work as an assistant in the president's office at MIT and do photography on the side. I am in YW for the third time (I am the Beehive counselor) and I love it. My hobbies are photography, antiquing, baking, sewing, quilting, blogging (and reading lots of blogs), writing letters, reading on the subway and exploring around New England (there is lots to see!).
