I think that everyone is part angel. Sometimes I see other people’s angel in their physical appearance. Other times it is their soul that is part angel. And sometimes trying to find the angel in them is like cleaning a dirty window. You have to have some supplies, a little patience and a pinch of force but once you finally find it their light shines so brightly it is almost blinding. Every person has angel in their soul and in their physical appearance.
No one fragment of angel is the same. Lots and lots of people have something in them that makes them all their own type of angel. It’s part of our uniqueness. For example, there are powerful angels and gentle angels. The powerful ones shine so brightly you can’t help but stand close to them for warmth. The gentle ones commit quite acts of kindness and give off a soft comfortable glow. These different pieces and strings that hold people together show you who they are. I don’t know who I am yet. But, I know what I want to be one day. I want to be a wife, a mother, a nurse. These are all parts of an angel that makes up a pretty awesome mortal if you ask me. These different parts of us, the calmness, kindness, and humanity build on each other our whole lives. They grow and sprout until one day, we aren’t just part seraph anymore. These slices and gold strings that hold us together have spread and multiplied until we are so close to the best human we can be that we become angels. This is a lifelong pursuit.
Thank heavens we have an elder brother who was the perfect teacher in all things angel. He walked, talked and practiced being perfect every single day and to every single person. Thank heavens that we have the atonement so that when we are slightly less than holy we have a chance to try again. And again. And again. Thank heavens we have a Heavenly Father who shows us his divine light and love every single day. Thank heavens for the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth. Today, tomorrow and every day strive to become more and more angel. And remember, be aware of those who collect feathers because yours are so precious.
