As you may have heard, President Thomas S. Monson passed away a couple of days ago. As a church we will miss our dear prophet. I know I will miss hearing his stories. Although President Monson is gone, nothing is lost, because the church is lead by God.
President Monson served the Lord for most of his life. He became an apostle in 1963, at the age of 36. He dedicated his life to the Lord. I am grateful for that, because he has taught us so many good things.
Be grateful for the prophet and follow what they say. We should remember that we can ask the Lord if we should follow the the things the prophet is saying. We have the right to ask and receive our own revelation.
Although we live in a stormy world, the church can be a sanctuary. I know this, and I know the prophet is called by God and I sustain President Monson and whoever the Lord calls next.
What was your favorite story that President Monson? Mine was probably when he said he lit a field on fire as a child. I also enjoyed when he wiggled his ears in conference.
